TrueFace AI is designed to be simple, secure, and private. This policy describes what we collect when you use the service and how we handle that information.
Images you submit are processed to return an authenticity result and confidence score, and to detect abusive uploads. We do not sell your images and do not use them for advertising.
We do not keep the full-resolution image after your scan completes. To let you revisit your recent scans, we save a small preview thumbnail of each scan, together with the result, to your account. We also store technical details such as the image dimensions, file size, and a hash of the image.
If you report an incorrect result, that report is linked to the saved scan, including its preview thumbnail, so we can review what went wrong. Your device also keeps its own local copy of recent scans, which you can clear at any time from inside the app.
Everything saved to your account — including preview thumbnails, scan history, and any reports you submit — is permanently deleted when you delete your account.
When you create an account we store your email address and authentication identifier so you can sign in.
You can permanently delete your account and all linked personal data at any time from Account & data → Delete my account inside the app (sign in, open the account menu in the top right, then choose Account & data). Deletion removes your sign-in, your saved scan history and its preview thumbnails, your preferences, any reports you submitted, and any image hashes linked to your account, and cannot be undone. If you prefer, email support@truefaceai.one from your account email and we will delete it for you.
AI image detection is probabilistic. Results are estimates, not guarantees, and should be treated as guidance rather than proof. False positives and false negatives are possible.
