How it works

- The detector reviews visual cues — lighting, shadows, skin and texture, background consistency, edges — alongside forensic signals from the file, such as metadata, compression patterns, and generator or editor markers when present.

What happens to the images I upload?
Images are processed to return a result and to detect abusive uploads. The full-resolution image is not kept after the scan completes; a small preview thumbnail is saved with the result to your account history, along with technical details such as dimensions, file size and an image hash. If you choose to share an image when reporting an incorrect result, that copy is retained for review. You can delete your account and all linked data from inside the app.
